Kenya Airways Speaks Out After Photo of Its Plane Fitted with ‘Sellotape’ Goes Viral

No way that safety of customers is their first priority! Is KQ serious? How do you call a temporary repair to patch an issue on exterior of a plane safe, worst of all the fuselage? There is a reason why rivets are used to maintain the contours & surfaces as needed for aerodynamics. Risking people’s lives to do cheap repairs is not acceptable. If it was in US, FAA would not allow such a plane to fly, but only in Kenya where short cuts are order of the day. KQ ujinga muwache!
