Peter Kenneth’s Mother Passes Away in Nairobi

Former Gatanga Member of Parliament Peter Kenneth has lost his mother, Rahab Wambui.
Ms. Wambui passed away while undergoing treatment at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi on Thursday morning, her family said. She has reportedly been battling an undisclosed illness for a long time.
President Kenyatta and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga are among leaders who have sent messages of condolences to the family of Ms. Wambui.
“It is with profound sadness that I have this morning received news of the death of Mama Rahab Wambui Muhuni. Condolences to my friend Hon. Peter Kenneth and the entire family. I pray for God’s comfort and providence in this difficult period of mourning,” said Kenyatta in a statement.
On his part, Odinga said: “My condolences go out to Peter Kenneth following the passing on of his Mother, Rahab Wambui Muhuni. May God grant him and the family strength and fortitude at this trying moment and may her soul rest in eternal peace. Poleni kwa msiba.”
