Three Busted Extorting Cash from TSC CEO Nancy Macharia While Posing as DCI Detectives

Three people who have been masquerading as detectives attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have been arrested.
The suspects identified as Hillary Ngondi Kyengo, James Ndirangu Kagecha, and David Mwaniki Maluki were arrested by DCI officers in Nairobi on Tuesday.
In a statement, the DCI says the suspects were trying to extort cash from Teachers Service Commission (TSC) Chief Executive Officer Nancy Macharia.
"They attempted to extort money for some purported investigations at the Commission," the DCI says.
"The three suspects will be arraigned in court and charged with attempting to obtain money by false pretenses," adds the DCI.
