Kalonzo Vows to Work with President Uhuru, Says No One Will Come Between Them

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has vowed to work with President Kenyatta in transforming the country and uniting Kenyans.
Speaking at the burial of his father, Peter Mairu in Tseikuru, Kitui County on Friday, Kalonzo said he will offer 100 percent support to Kenyatta to deliver his Big Four agenda as well fight against corruption.
“I think I will be Uhuru’s right hand man from now on and I don’t want anyone to question me about it, if you do, you will realise that I am as stubborn as my departed father. I am doing this because we want this people to benefit; we want this nation to be one thing. My brother Raila we will continue to work together,” said Kalonzo, adding that he will not allow anyone to separate them henceforth.
“Nataka kutangaza hapa mbele yenu, kutoka leo nisiwai ona mtu akinitenganisha na kakangu Uhuru Kenyatta."
On his part, President Kenyatta has welcomed all leaders to work with him in moving the country forward.
“We are not in competition… we shall work together to complement one another for the benefit of the ordinary citizen. We are all Kenyan leaders and we must work together in order to deliver and we must deliver as one."
Other leaders present at the burial ceremony included opposition leader Raila Odinga, Deputy President William Ruto, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, among others.
