Babu Owino Freed on Bond after Being Charged with Assaulting a Parking Attendant

Sote tulimwona Ndugu Ferdinad Waititu akiwatupia watu mawe huko Nairobi miaka michache iliyopita. Sasa, yeye ni gavana wa wilaya ya Kiambu! Hakufanyiwa mambo Babu Owino anayofanyiwa sasa. Sote tulimwona Michael Sonko naye akipigana hadharani, hakupelekwa rumande na kulala huko siku mbili.

Naiomba serikali ya Jubilee ikomeshe mateso yake kwa Kaka Babu Owino. Mimi si mfuasi wa NASA au Jubilee. Pia, mimi si Mluo wala Mkikuyu, lakini naona ndugu zangu Waluo wameteswa sana na serikali (isipokuwa serikali ya Mwai Kibaki) tangu tupate uhuru na Waluo wameuawa kuliko taifa dogo lolote lililopo Kenya. Kwa nini Waluo wameuawa kama nyoka?

Je, serikali imehukumiwa kwa mauaji iliyofanya wakati wa uchaguzi uliopita? Tuliona askari polisi wakifyatua bunduki zao na kuwaua raia ovyo! Je, uhalifu huu unaofanywa na serikali utamalizika lini? Je kumekuwa na tume ya kuchunguza uhalifu serikali inavyofanyia wananchi?

Kwa nini hata sasa serikali haijafanya uchunguzi na kuona ni nani aliyewateketeza wananchi walipokuwa kanisani huko Eldoret baada ya uchaguzi wa 2007? Raia wengi waliuawa kama "thuraku - mchwa" na jambo lolote halijafanyika hata sasa?

Wachache wameandika hapa na kusema Raila alishughulika na vifo visivyopungua watu 1,300 mwaka wa 2007! Kwa nini hajanaswa na kupelekwa kortini na kushtakiwa kwa mauaji hayo? Serikali ina jukumu la kuwalinda na kuhakikisha usalama kwa Wakenya wote bila ubaguzi. Kama sivyo, nawaomba viongozi waliopo sasa wang'atuke na kurudi walipotoka kabla ya kujiunga na uongozi ambao yaonekana dhahiri sasa wameshindwa kabisa.

Come on @Imara, that kind of reasoning is pathetic. Hoping you live in the USA. If you park your car in LA or NY city or any other place they charge for parking. You pay for the parking. That is very simple thing to do and everybody does it. Thug Babu Owino did not want to pay for parking and on top of that he assaulted the parking attendant. If you do not pay for parking & assault the parking attendant in USA you be arrested and your car towed. You do not blame Trump or Obama for that.

@Kenya: Nakuomba tafadhali soma tena niliyoandika. Waititu na Sonko waliwapiga watu, lakini hawakushikwa na askari polisi 17 na kutupwa korokoroni kama mbwa mwitu kama Babu Owino alivyofanyiwa.

Babu Owino alimtukana Uhuru huku akitumia matusi mabaya sana. Alishikwa mara moja na kuingizwa kizuizini. Naye Uhuru aliitukana mahakama kuu ya Kenya kwa kuwaita "wakora." Kwa nini naye hakukamatwa kama mbwa mwitu na kusukumwa gerezani?

Ningependa kuona usawa wa sheria ukitumiwa katika nchi yetu tukufu ya Kenya kwa wananchi wote. Nakumbuka wakati Ndugu Bill Clinton alipohojiwa na hakimu kwa mambo yake aliyofanya pembeni na Monica Lewisnky. Alipatikana na hatia na "nyumba ndogo" ya tawala ya Marekani, halafu akatimuliwa, ingawa aliokolewa na nyumba kubwa ya maseneta.

Kwa nini hatujamwona hata kiongozi mmoja wa Kenya akipelekwa kortini kwa madhambi ambayo amefanya akiwa kazini au baada ya kuondoka kazini?

Ningependa kuona mfumo wa sheria ambao kila mwananchi ni sawa na mwananchi mwingine chini ya sheria bila kutazama tabaka aliyomo!

@ Imara will Africa move forward with backward mentality of thinking. Before you sit down on your computer research and stop acting like a crown unless you are a crown. Waititu was fighting against illegal land grabbing when he did what he did do your homework and you know. Sonko was also fighting to rescue grabbed lands and house some which your cousin kidero had stolen and he had gone to court and nothing was being done about it and the only solution was to do what he did and it worked like a magic pill and all those grabbed properties were taken back to there rightful owners.

@imara are are you aware that every time anybody from your mlengo, NASA is taken to court all your tribesmen jum the courtroom 'to rescue' one of their own? Was it not pathetic to you seeing Kalonzo, Raila and others matching to the high cour alongside stone carrying mobs when Ngilu was being charged for corruption? We did't see Ruto, Uhuru or even Moses Kuria leading their supporters to protest in support of Jubilee CSs charged at the same time. Did that bother your concience sir? What do you make of your top leaders who join stone throwing mobs in defence of miscreants like your beloved Babu Owino?

@Njai: Waswahili husema, "Asiyekubali kushindwa si mshindani." I wrote several posts before the election and made my point very clear that neither Raila nor Uhuru are fit to rule Kenya! We want a "Norwegian model" where all citizens work closely together in order to make their country NUMBER ONE in the world. The two sons of our founding fathers are totally unable to raise Kenya to that level.

I also made my point very clear that I am not a NASA or Jubilee die hard follower or sycophant. Yet I have endured many unwarranted insults from a few writers who share their tainted opinions here. It is a biological fact that I am neither a member of the Luo or Gikuyu micro nations, yet those who attack me assume inaccurately and have concluded that I am a Luo. There is nothing wrong with being a Luo or a member of the Gikuyu micro-nations.

Siku za mwizi arobaini. I cannot accept any more insults from the people that I have not insulted. I am asking Mwakilishi to come up with an automatic system that censors and deletes insults. The system does exist. Please do that. Until that system is instituted by Mwakilishi, I will not contribute my ideas anymore! Nawatakieni kila la heri! Kwaherini!
