Former University of Nairobi Student Leader Bob Owino Secures ODM Nomination for Embakasi East MP Seat

Bob Owino, the former Student Organization of Nairobi University (SONU) leader, has secured ODM nomination for the Embakasi East MP seat. Owino garnered 6,093 votes to win the ODM primary election held on Monday.

Businesswoman Esther Passaris secured the nomination Nairobi Women Representative seat with 65,104, trouncing five other opponents. She will face incumbent Rachel Shebesh who won her Jubilee nomination for the seat last week.

In Makadara Constituency, former Nairobi Mayor George Aladwa beat former MP Reuben Ndolo to win the nomination for the constituency’s MP seat. Aladwa had 5,385 votes against Ndolo’s 1,812.
