Kenyan Singer Nameless Loses Instagram Account with 1.2 Million Followers to Iraqi Hackers

Iraqi hackers have taken control of an Instagram account belonging to celebrated Kenyan artist Nameless whose real name is David Mathenge.

His wife Wahu Kagwi, who is also a singer, took to Instagram to ask their fans to disregard any posts coming from her husband’s verified account, which has over 1.2 million followers.

“Hey, fam. Nameless Instagram Account has been hacked. We are working to resolve the issue but for now please disregard any posts coming from Nameless Kenya account,” Wahu posted.

The hackers have been posting content from Iraq, including one bearing the flag of the war-torn middle east nation.

The incident comes at a time when the celebrity couple is working on a joint project, having recently released a collabo titled ‘Te Amo’. The song has garnered nearly 700,000 views on YouTube since its release a week ago.
