Mr. Samuel Njenga Njuguna passed away suddenly in North Carolina on Tuesday July 20th after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Esther, his children Diana, Ann-Brenda, and Brian.

We regret to announce the death of Veronica W. Kuria of Manville, New Jersey. The Late Veronica passed away on Sunday night through a tragic road accident on Route 206 in Hllsborough, NJ.

The Late John Theuri

Alexandria, VA - John Theuri passed away on June 12, after a short illness and subsequently succumbing to complications caused by pancreatic cancer.

John worked for the Department of State as a Swahili language instructor in the state of Virginia. He will be buried on Saturday June 26, 2010, in Mount Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria, in the state of Virginia. Funeral Service will be in St. Louis Catholic Church near the cemetery (2907 Popkins Lane, Alexandria, VA 22306) at 10:30 a.m.

The Late Jimmy Musyimi Somba

Durham, NC - A Kenyan man has passed away in North Carolina. Mr Jimmy Musyimi Somba passed away on Monday the 14th of June 2010.

He comes from Kalandini, Tala. He collapsed and had a heart attack whilst exercising and paramedics tried in vain to resuscitate him but died shortly after.

He was residing in North Carolina, USA with his beloved wife Grace Mwikali Somba.

The Late Ruth Munene

We are sad to announce the death of the late Ruth Wawera Munene who was residing in Birmingham, Alabama.

The late Ruth Wawira was found murdered with knife stabs in her house Saturday June 11th, 2010. She was residing in Euless, TX before moving to Alabama about two years ago.

After receiving the sad news, a fund raising committee was formed to raise funds and meet the burial expenses. We are meeting on June 13, 16 and 20 at 603 Amy Way, Euless, Texas 76039.

The Late Dr David Menge

Minneapolis, MN - Dr. David Menge, a Kenyan researcher in Minneapolis, Minnesota, passed away on  May 29, 2010 following complications from cancer. Dr Menge was diagnosed with colorectal cancer some time in Fall/Ear​ly Winter of 2008. He was immediately put on chemotherap​y treatment and in December 2008, he underwent surgery to remove a tumor that had grown in the colon. This surgery was followed by further chemo treatments in the Spring of 2009 and by the end the Summer of 2009; he was told that his cancer had been effectively treated.

The Late Mrs Jennie Sainah

Dallas, TX - A Kenyan woman has passed away in Dallas, TX after a long illness bravely borne. Mrs Jennie Sainah passed away on Wednesday May 12, 2010.

Jennie was the wife to Joseph Sainah of Denton, TX, mother to Jeffrey, Jessie, and Jerry. She was the daughter of Lawrence and Felicitas Korir of Ngechek village in Nandi, Kenya. She was the sister-in-law/sister to Sam and Julie Bore of Grand Prairie, TX. Her other siblings are Jossie Jacky, John, Janet, and Paul.

Jennie Sainah hailed from Eldoret, Kenya. She settled in Denton, Texas, USA, in 1992.

Birmingham, AL - A Kenyan man has passed away in Birmingham, Alabama, USA. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roy Nganga Kuria after a short illness.

Roy Nganga Kuria was the son of John W. Kuria and the late Teresa W. Kuria, brother to Carolyne Kuria, Rita Kuria and Denis Kuria. A memorial will be held in Birmingham, Alabama and the details will be announced soon.

Captain Kwame Waikenda

Morehead, NC - Captain Kwame Waikenda was shot and killed in his apartment in Morehead, North Carolina. Kwame had just returned from his second tour of Iraq and he was gearing up for a tour of Afghanistan. Everyone that knows Kwame can attest to his brilliance, very big heart and composed nature. Kwame, you will be missed and loved by everyone that you left in this world. There will be an Irish wake in NC in Captain Kwame's memory.
