Kenyan Delivery Worker Dies After Being Hit by Truck in Qatar

Brandon Kiplimo, a Kenyan national living in Qatar, has died after being hit by a truck while returning to his residential camp.

Arrangements are reportedly under way to repatriate his body to Kenya for burial.

According to his friend, Brian Kipkemboi, the accident occurred as Kiplimo approached a turn leading to the camp where he lived. He sustained serious head and rib injuries in the collision and died before reaching his residence.

Kiplimo’s death has left his family, friends and fellow Kenyans in Qatar mourning his sudden loss. News of the accident has been shared among members of the Kenyan community, with condolences being sent to those closest to him.

His employer is reportedly coordinating the arrangements to transport his remains to Kenya. However, a date for the repatriation has not yet been confirmed. The process is expected to allow his family to prepare for his burial at home.

Messages of condolence have also been directed to his parents, including his mother, Mama Lavi, as relatives and friends come to terms with his death. Details surrounding the accident remain limited, and further information about the circumstances of the collision has yet to emerge.

Kiplimo’s death has left his family facing the loss of a loved one far from home. His relatives and friends are now awaiting arrangements to bring his remains back to Kenya for burial.
