“Candy Man”: Nickname Given to Ronny Jackson, Trump Nominee for VA Secretary for Freely Dishing Out Prescription Drugs Like Candy

Dr Ronny Jackson, the embattled Veterans Administration Secretary nominee and current Physician to the President is nicknamed “Candy Man” by the White House for casually dishing out prescription drugs.

Senator Jon Tester (D-Montana) told CCN’s Anderson Cooper that about 20 military sources have told the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee that Dr Jackson handed out prescription drugs such as Ambien and Provigil like candy on long Air Force One flights.

Dr Jackson has also been accused of drinking while on duty and also creating a hostile workplace environment.

Dr Jackson, who has been the White House chief doctor since 2013 in the Barack Obama administration, raised eyebrows earlier in January when he said that President Donald Trump has incredible genes and could have lived to be 200 years old had he been eating a healthier diet in recent years.

Jackson was nominated by President Donald Trump to head the Veterans Affairs department on March 28, 2018. Following the recent disclosures, his Senate confirmation hearing set to start on April 25th has been postponed indefinitely.
