Detectives Arrest Two Kenyans, Foreigner Ferrying Explosives

Police have arrested three terror suspects ferrying explosive materials along the Nairobi-Namanga highway.

The three, including two Kenyans and one foreigner, were nabbed by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) at Maili Tisa shopping center on Friday.

They are Moses Koite, 26, Patrick Ng’ang’a, 36, and Sadic Harabe Sadic—a 26-year-old foreign national.

The suspects were traveling in a Toyota Noah vehicle registration number KBM 880U.

They were in possession of 17 rolls of detonating codes and one packet containing 100 pieces of supreme detonators, according to the DCI.

“The suspects are in lawful custody pending further police action. Further investigations on the matter ongoing,” the DCI said through Twitter.
