Officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have on Monday arrested Nakuru Town East Member of Parliament David Gikaria over land grabbing allegations.
The MP has been grilled at the DCI offices in Nakuru for two hours and was later arraigned at the Nakuru Law Courts.
The second-time MP is accused of forging title deeds and grabbing several parcels of land in Nakuru municipality.
Appearing before Principal Magistrate David Mararo, Gikaria has been charged with eight counts of land fraud.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges and has been freed on a personal bond of Sh3 million with three sureties of a similar amount or cash bail of Sh1 million.
The case will be mentioned on January 30th, 2019.
