Many will regret moving to usa n many will thank God for it so am hoping they have done their homework very well.If u have houses/land don't sell it,First move then unjionee kwanza.Gudluck
I think they are focused the United States provides very good opportunities. Those who regret mostly lack information about culture shock therefore they resist change. Those who adapt, adjust, go back to school or start businesses and accept America is America and Kenya is Kenya are very successful. Depends with the crowd they come in contact with.
I totally agree with you Janet, My Auntie went to the states as a registered nurse, it's now about two years since she went but I tell you she is harvesting big. Only those who are ignorant will rubbish the idea of going to the states

America is not as bad as people make it out to be...with hardwork, patience and perseverance it'll be a walk in the park living. I came here 15 years ago on a student Visa, 5 kids and a wife down the road, can't say it's been easy but I wouldn't trade it for anything. If you can make it here, by all means do all it takes. It's worth it even now in the Trumo era #blessAmerica
Wow Michael I agree with you 💯 I also came to America more than 15 years ago and will not trade that. If people have immigration right and focus on education and apply for jobs like other Americans do we can’t even compare. There are so many other opportunities besides education and the system is fair. I do not have to have a rich uncle to make it here. I love America it gave me opportunities that no one else gave me. Many people refuse to accept culture shock which can take years. They hung out with wrong negative minds that’s why they do not succeed. America the great !!!!!

You can apply and then ask people in your village who are in USA to host you when you come to USA.
Guys try moving to canada or Australia it's way way beta off than usa having lived in 3 countries will advice guys who r really desperate of moving to choose them two.But mkifika huko don't forget home juu if u do after 5/6 years u will regret why u didn't invest home juu maisha/miaka itakuwa inakukataa. So be wise n again for those who r doing ok in kenya please kalisha matako hapa nyumbani juu u will regret n u will blame yourself not yr God for moving in either the countries i have indicated.Peace.
Honestly you might have come in contact with the wrong crowd and did not adapt. America has opportunities if you get immigration straight and go to school find a job like other Americans. It’s sad that Kenyans spread the message of failure in the United States. Culture shock is real and those that do not adapt and accept things the Roman way really struggle. Kenya is kenya America is America once you get that it’s actually a very good nation
Please dont post stuff u have no idea of. I think its wise to be quiet. It's not always about a bad group. Actually I think u have a bad group discouraging you about going back to Kenya.
People if u come here please do reconsider investing at home. Also it will be wise if you obtain an American citizen before u decide to relocate back home for good. Remember I said Citizen not green card. Yes go back to school get a good job and keep buying those lands at home. Why? It will be way to better to retire at home. Your lands will be a better deal to sell and build a home. Visit home more often to adapt with the changes of back home. Yes of course have a good company who will love to relocate home but after some research. If things dont work ou te good even after 8 years you are an us Citizen you can always come back.
BUT if u have a good life in Kenya please dont come here yes you will regret of dropping your life in Kenya for some struggles and adjustments
I live in america. An my fianice lives in nigeria. We were scheduled to b merried on xmas of 2018. He applied for his visa it got denied the first time. It dont make sense you have to go thru all this dateing from another country can sumone pls help him get here. Thanks so much.
Shut your mouth up fool. Who the fuck are you to judge we Nigerians? Better watch what you say
If you were in a long distance relationship they might have refused you due to him being nigerian and suspected fraudulant marriage, however involve a lawyer if your marriage is genuine
I applied last year 2018 and now waiting. I don't have any relative I know in USA who will host me if I win?
Kindly helps me know the free n genuine sites to apply. Lottery, green card. Any way to get me their.
Helloo, i entered FY 2018-US green card lottery, and waiting for the results, hoping something good will germinate come may. Anyway incase i don't make it in the lottery, kindly could someone guide me on procedure towards obtaining a student visa to pursue masters degree in US or Canada, which is less costly.
Yes It's true that you don't need to dispose any properties at home to come to the US. If you have a family come settle before you bring them along unless your host is willing to accomodate both of you as you wait for your papers and find a job. The main difference with kenya is the job opportunities. Remember most people head back home after retirement and therefore you will need to invest at home.
@samuel muraya go to australian embassy in westlands/upperhill n ask them to give you papers information about applying to go to australia or visit migrate to australia or find a college in australia online n u will get it.It should take u about 3months to get school papers. Please try Australia first u will b better there than usa juu after u complete yr school ur guaranteed papers/permanent residency but if u go to usa n finish school getting papers will never happen unless u marry an old jungus or nyeuthi wa ghetto or very fat fat white women
Am praying this year May God willing am among the chosen one. I wish to go there so that I further my studies and to get a good job. I wish to have a PHD in Philosophy
