Team Kenya Kicks Off 2019 USA Sevens Tournament Friday Afternoon, against the United States

Team Kenya kicks off its first match of the 2019 USA Sevens in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday at 4:50pm PT against the United States before playing its second match of the day against France at 7:29pm.

Kenya is in Pool B at the tournament alongside the United States, France, and Argentina.

Kenya will close out its Pool B matches on Saturday when it faces Argentina at 12:58pm.

Entering the tournament, Kenya is currently in position 13 in the 2019 World Rugby Sevens with 12 points, out of 17 teams. New Zealand and the United States top the  world standings tied with 76 points, followed by Fiji with 72 points.

Like in years past, Kenyans living in the US and elsewhere around the world have gathered in the hundreds to cheers their home team.
