The Family and Friends of Elias Thuo Mariga would like to invite everyone to a Prayer and Support meeting on Sunday 9/11/2011. Elias was diagnosed with Nephrotic syndrome four years ago, which has gradually advanced to Kidney Failure. He is currently on Dialysis 3 days a week and the Doctor has advised him that he will eventually require kidney transplant in the future.

Elizabeth Cheruto Kogo is still fighting for her life at the Wesley Medical university in Wichita, Kansas. Elizabeth underwent surgery to remove the claw part of the hammer that was lodged in her skull.

Ms Kogo, 29, was attacked on January 23rd 2011 by her boyfriend Gideon Kibiwott Maiyo in Wichita. She was struck with a hammer several times (Read the full story here).

In what sounded like a scene straight from Hollywood movies, a Kenyan truck driver escaped death by the skin of his teeth when he was shot in Newark, New Jersey by a gangster who was trying to steal a car he was delivering to a client.

Left handicapped by the wound, but happy to be alive, Patrick Kagotho, a father of four from Worcester Mass., is pleading with his community for financial assistance as he waits to recover his full functionality and go back to work.

Angela is an adorable four year old girl from Kenya who had the terrible misfortune of accidentally falling into a pot of hot water when she was only two. The fall scaled her severely from chest to thighs. She received initial medical attention in Kenyan hospitals, where doctors were able to stabilize her burn wounds.
