The article titled “Jaguar’s 26 minute performance leaves Atlanta fans disappointed†by BMJ Muriithi and published on the Daily Nation is the equivalent of tabloid reporting. I am the promoter that hosted the show and it was my call to have Jaguar perform at the designated time. It has been the culture of most of our regular customers and Africans in general to arrive late and we have had to accommodate our customers. Mr. Murithi arrived at 11:45 pm accompanied by his wife for the so called 10 pm Concert and proceeded to demand free entry as Media invited by the event organizers. This was a false statement. I then agreed to let him in as a courtesy and only charge his wife. He then proceed to request an interview on the day of the event, keeping in mind this was 12am. I denied his request. He proceeded to sit in a pre-booked VIP section and after I politely asked him to move, he was not pleased.
As far as the performance is concerned, I have had many artists perform and I have never had a sold-out maximum capacity event before in Atlanta, but this one was. The crowd was highly energetic and engaged during the performance and sang along to all his hit from Furaha, Nimetoka Mbali, Nikuskize, Kioo, Kipepeo, Kigeugeu, One Centimeter and Huu Mwaka. Additionally with regular philanthropic nature Jaguar awarded 4 or 5 fans with $100 as they sang along with him all words to his popular songs. Mr. Jaguar was only passing through Atlanta for personal business and decided to entertain his adoring fans at my behest.
The evidence is in the many posts and reviews we have seen on social media about his excellent performance. He performed all his hits even repeating one for the fans. The picture from the event clearly indicates a different picture than that projected by Mr. Murithi. It is very disappointing that the Nation can publish opinion pieces without the proper verifications of facts. He quoted in his article that Dj. Vinn and Dj. Nyandat entertained the crowd, but he specifically forgot to mention that there was Dj Banks who played a big part and was also a main feature, another distorted fact. To simply quantify the article, it is a huge misrepresentation opinion by a disgruntled reporter.

I have said it before that this fake man by the name muriithi is not a journalist of any cadre. Everything he writes about is 90% lies, trying to make money from the gutter press that Nation has become. Looking for freebies in the name of reporting? you should be ashamed at your age. This man does not represent or report for Diaspora kenyans.
I have written in this forum before about this reporter and I am sure NATION can do better than this. It may even be better not report than to expose yourself this way with a clueless rep. like Muriithi.
