The Embassy of Kenya in Washington, D.C. wishes to invite all Kenyans to a reception in honor of the Hon. Kenneth Marende, EGH, MP, Speaker of the Kenya National Assembly, which will be held at the Embassy Conference Room on Friday 3rd February 2012, at 6pm - 8pm.

The Hon. Speaker will be on an official visit to the United States (US) from 27th January – 3rd February 2012, and will be accompanied by Hon. Gedion Ndambuki, M.P. and Assistant Minister for Agriculture and Hon. Dr. Erastus Mureithi, M.P.

A conference targeting Kenyans living in Europe will be held next month in a bid to encourage them to invest more at home. The meeting which has been jointly organized by Kenya High Commission in the UK and Kenya Diaspora Investment Forum groups will take place on February 25 in London.

It is expected to attract key players from the government , Kenya Investment Authority , representatives of Nairobi Securities Exchange, local banks and other investment bodies. They will present the various options that the Kenyans diaspora have in terms of investment.

Kenyans Connect, in conjunction with the Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Washington, DC presents Kenyans Connect 2012, Las Vegas.
