It is with deep profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God's will that we announce the elevation to Glory of Mr. Solomon K. Murugu which occurred on Wednesday, February 15th 2012 at Reston Hospital in Reston, Virginia following an illness that was bravely borne.
The memorial service will be at McGuire Funeral Home (7400 Georgia Avenue, Washington D.C., 20012) on Saturday February 25th, 2012 at 11am and will be preceded by the viewing at 10am. He will be laid to rest at his farm in Naari, Meru (Kenya) on Friday March 2nd 2012.
To assist the family meet the cost of sending his body to his final resting place, a fund raiser has been scheduled for Saturday February 25th, 2012 at the Nativity Church, 6000 Georgia Ave, Washington DC 2011 from 7pm to 11pm.
