U.S. Rapper 50 cent, in Kibera

American rapper 50 Cent is currently in Kenya on a low key mission trip to aid hungry and orphaned children in Kenya. He visited orphaned school children in Kibera on Thursday. Prior to arriving in Kenya, he visited Somalia to assess the conditions of tens of thousands of Somalis still facing famine.

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, last year launched a project called Street King, through the World Food Program (WFP), which he intends to use to provide 1 billion meals for the hungry. He is also donating to WFP 10 cents from every sale of a new energy drink called Street King that he is promoting.
