Today, Nov 10, 2011 marks the second anniversary of Mwakilishi.com. It was on Nov 10, 2009 that we went online and first published our first article. We have since published thousands of news articles, blogs, announcements, and videos on different topics mainly affecting or relating to the Kenyan Diaspora. As of today, our website contains a total of 22,417 news articles, blogs, videos, announcements, and forum topics.

Our readership has continued to grow tremendously everyday since then, and we now have visitors to our website being people living in all corners of the world. Over the last 2 years we have received traffic from 169 different countries of the world. The top 10 countries in terms of traffic to our website are: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates,  Australia, India, Kenya, Germany, South Africa, and France.

We are currently in the top 3 of the Kenyan Diaspora news sites worldwide in terms of traffic. We strive everyday to being an informational platform for the millions of Kenyans living in the Diaspora.

We would like to give special thanks to the people who visit and participate in our website on a regular basis, leave comments on the different articles, and those who also visit and participate in discussions on our Facebook Fan Page (http://www.facebook.com/mwakilishi).

We would also like to give special thanks to the advertisers on our website who help keep this site running while at the same time marketing their products and services to the Kenyans Diaspora.

Special thanks also go to the various people who contribute to our website by authoring and providing articles on different topics for us to share with the Kenyan Diaspora on a daily basis.
