IEBC commissioner Roselyn Akombe has dismissed rumors that she is about to quit the commission.
Rumors have been doing rounds that Akombe along with IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati would tender their resignation letters on Thursday over the ongoing political tug of war between the IEBC and the various political parties and candidates.
Talking on the phone with The Star on Thursday, Akombe said she is determined to help the commission fulfill its mandate of delivering the October 26th repeat election.
"As you can see I am talking to you. I am giving the plan on what is happening. Do I look like a person contemplating to resign?" Akombe told The Star on phone.
