Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria says that the Nairobi Business Community will be holding daily meetings outside Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) headquarter offices in Nairobi.
In a post on his Facebook page on Sunday night, Kuria said that the lobby group will from this week hold meetings outside Anniversary Towers everyday, to "map out risks and threats posed to their business interests".
This comes after NASA said it would increase their anti-IEBC demos to three times a week in their bid to remove Chief Executive Ezra Chiloba from office.
Nairobi Business Community— a group with members in dreadlocks shoot to limelight after countering-protests staged by Nasa to "protect" their businesses from looting and destruction.
"Owing to accelerated risks and threats to our business interests, we will carry out daily meetings with our members starting from tomorrow to map out the risks and threats and discuss the same with the security agencies,".
"This outreach program will start tomorrow (Monday) at 1pm outside Anniversary Towers," wrote Kuria.
Although the group has denied that Kuria was its patron, the controversial MP has continued to link himself to the group, which has been accused of having links with outlawed sect group, Mungiki.
