The opposition outfit NASA has alleged that police flying squad attacked their parallel tallying center located at Runda estate in Nairobi on Friday.
Siaya senator James Orengo and his Machakos counterpart Johnstone Muthama said that officers were on a mission to vandalize the evidence that they had collected showing massive irregularities and discrepancies in Tuesday's election.
The two claimed that they possess substantial prove that the election was rigged to the advantage of President Uhuru Kenyatta. Orengo divulged that Nasa had enough proof that votes were deducted from their candidate Raila Odinga and added to Uhuru.
The team was addressing the press at the Bomas of Kenya on Friday afternoon, after they presented their claims to IEBC and want justice to be served.
"Plain clothed police officers have reportedly been detained at the Runda tallying centre. They got into the premises pretending to be journalists who had been invited for a presser by NASA technical team chair, David Ndii," Said Orengo.
