National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich and his Industrialization counterpart Adan Mohammed were rushed to a Nairobi hospital on Friday over suspected food poisoning.
Sources said that the Rotich was among patients admitted at Nairobi Hospital with suspected symptoms of food poisoning.
Nation reported that Rotich was rushed to the hospital at midday on Friday, while his Trade and Industrialisation counterpart Adan Mohamed, who suffered a similar problem, was treated and discharged at Kenyatta National Hospital.
Director of Medical Services at the Ministry of Health Jackson Kioko said that he received information indicating that the two CSs were suffering from food poisoning. The two and several others are suspected to have developed the symptoms after taking meals and drinks at a trade forum held at Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi.
