Kenya’s giant betting firm SportPesa confirmed that last week’s Mega Jackpot was won by three lucky winners who correctly predicted the seventeen games for the Jackpot.
The firm announced that each of the three winners be taking home 37 million shillings.
One of last week's winners is Florence Machogu, a 60 year-old mother of six from Molo, Nakuru County, who became becoming the third woman to win the SportPesa Jackpot. Mochogu is a retired primary school teacher at Kambala primary school in Molo and is now a millionaire after correctly predicting all the seventeen games of the Jackpot alongside two others.
The other winners are Daniel Rono and Geoffrey Keitany who also correctly predicted the 17 Jackpot games correctly.
A 28 year-old man won the Mega Jackpot worth Sh221 million a few weeks ago, becoming the highest paid Jackpot winner in the whole of Africa. Samuel Abisai won Sh221 million weeks ago while two others had earlier shared a Sh62 million jackpot.
Sports betting have become popular in the country and the latest win will certainly inspire interest among Kenyans in the sports betting industry.
