Budalangi Member of Parliament Ababu Namwamba may have won the thousands of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s supporters after unexpectedly appearing during a rally organized by President Uhuru and making exciting comments endorsing the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Speaking during a rally organized outside Kenyatta International Conference Center on Monday, minutes after president Uhuru Kenyatta was cleared to seek re-election by the electoral body IEBC, the eloquent legislator electrified the crowd after making exciting comments that seemed to resonate well with thousands of supporters who thronged the venue to listen to president Uhuru and other Jubilee leaders, leaving the crowd applauding and cheering.
"I support President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election bid because time for a good idea to make way for a better idea has come and that idea is borne by our President Uhuru Kenyatta," Ababu said amid cheers, clapping and ululations from the crowd.
The Labor Party of Kenya party leader, who was expelled from ODM party, lauded President Uhuru saying he has delivered more for the people of Budalangi than past governments.
"The governments of former Presidents and Prime Minister made promises to my people and did not deliver but President Uhuru promised them a bridge and in one month I am inviting him to commission it to end flooding," Ababu said.
Namwamba called on the Western Kenya region community to rally behind president Uhuru, assuring president Uhuru that he will work to ensure that he bags sizable votes from the region.
He further called on the ‘Mulembe’ nation to rally behind their son Johnstone Sakaja, who is the Jubilee Nairobi senatorial candidate.
