Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho says that there is a plot by some top officials in Jubilee government determined to block his 2022 presidential bid.
Joho alleges that there is a well calculated plan being hatched to prevent him from contesting for Kenya’s top seat in the 2022 polls.
In an interview on KTN News on Wednesday, Joho claimed that some few individuals were feeling threatened by his 2022 State House bid.
“Some people are keen to lock me out of the 2022 presidential election, but let me tell that I will not be intimidated,” he said.
The controversial governor said that his 2022 presidential bid was unstoppable adding that nothing will stop him from clinching the seat.
The Mombasa Governor added that he has all it takes to be the head of state in 2022 promising to champion for the interests of Coast people and Kenyans at large.
Joho took a job at Jubilee government and accused it of inciting the coastal residents against him and the county government of Mombasa.
He urged Mombasa locals to shun divisive politics and asked them not to listen to politicians fueling malicious propaganda against him.
Joho urged Kenyans to remain peaceful ahead of the August polls.
